Our Story

Relay was founded in 2023 in Zurich, Switzerland, by a team of infrastructure engineers who spent years building and scaling global systems at leading tech companies. We saw firsthand how difficult it was to deploy low-latency applications worldwide, and we knew there had to be a better way.

What started as an internal tool quickly grew into a platform used by thousands of developers. Today, Relay powers edge computing for startups, scale-ups, and enterprises across 47 regions, serving billions of requests every month.
